The Remessa Design team had the Figma Professional plan, in which it is the main interface construction tool. This plan allows you to have only one time slot, with unlimited folders and files.
The organization of files in this plan brought several difficulties such as: searching for files, with many folders, and folders with many files, where there is a complexity of improvement in it, due to lack of creation of new teams.
The growing of Design team and designing new experiences, this complexity increased. With that, we saw the need to upgrade the tool to the Organization plan, in which there are unlimited spaces for teams that help organize each segment and their respective experience.
After these estimates, I drew the information architecture of the scenario, below is the design, and what this organization was like.

After this analysis, the pros and cons of this organization were highlighted in Figma.
Cons:
Reduced monthly cost (12$ per user);
Pros:
Difficulty in file hierarchy;
Project identification complexity;
Lack of separation by "times";
Several files of different themes in the same project;
Future unsustainable and more complex to organize;
Suggest the organization problem in Figma to solve the complex solution to perform the upgrade in Figma to the complex solution plan, due to the difficulty of searching for files, the organization for having only one solution environment shown in time several files, and several folders each one with a hierarchy.
I designed the architecture of the organization that would be inside Figma, where an asynchronous task was carried out so that everyone at design time could give their opinion on its organization. The final designed architecture was as shown in the image below.

After carrying out these processes and analyses, the Figma platform was upgraded, and all the files were organized as designed. Below is the result of the structured organization.

The process was carried out in September and October 2021 for Design Ops at the Design time of Shipping Online, and decisions were made jointly with the entire team.
